Clarence Joy, who has served as superintending principal of the Proctor, Vt„ schools for seventeen years has resigned. The Rutland Herald carried an article noting the important points of his life, with an exceptionally good photo. He spent the summer at his farm at Barrington, N. H. His plans for the future are still undecided, but he expects to continue in educational work.
Bones Woodward has closed his office and can only be found at his suburban home, thus accomplishing a long-desired wish.
The name of the B. & M. railroad station at Pompanoosic was changed to Kendall in honor of the Hersey E. Kendall family, which ran the station when it was busy. Warren and his brother were born there, and there started their railroad careers which have been so successful: Warren being chairman of the car service division of the Association of American Railroads, and his brother Leon being assistant general manager of the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad.
The movie film The Iron Major received a full-page write up in the BostonPost of July 25th. Pictures of "Cav" and of the actor Pat O'Brien as "Cav" showed how much care has been taken to make the production accurate. The film will have a prologue showing six of his sons and one daughter. It is scheduled for early fall release.
Benezet is the author of two articles in the June issue of the Shakespeare Fellowship's Magazine, so apparently he is still expounding the theory he gave us at a round-up not so long ago.
Memoirs of Raymond Pearl have recently been published. It was written by Dr. Jennings who was a professor at Dartmouth during our senior year. He later went to the University of Michigan and it was under him that Raymond took his Ph.D.
