THOUGH OUR address-list for this part of Maryland is as long as ever (more than a hundred names) many of the men are actually away in the military or other Government services, others working on night shifts or otherwise preoccupied, with the result that attendance at our monthly gatherings has fallen off considerably. A serious loss to us is the departure of Chauncy Colton '35. our good friend and devoted member ever since his graduation. He moved during the summer to Duluth, whence he and Katherine have recently announced that they are receptive to congratulations on the birth of a daughter.

The center of interest at our September meeting was Lt. (j.g.) Dick Kenney '40 on leave from service in the Solomon Islands, who told us about some of his experiences in dive-bombing the Japanese. George McKean '29, whom we had not seen before, joined us that evening.
