Judge Griffith, leading citizen of Manchester, Vt., has been extremely busy this fall, what with his law practice, his bank presidency, his Probate Court, and most important—his daughter Grace, who entered Smith College in September. He writes that son Gould, Dartmouth '35, is sergeant in Engineers Headquarters Squadron of the Eighth Air Force, located in Northern Ireland, with trips to Scotland and England.
Dr. Martyn writes from Cuttingsville, "Everything is the same with me only coryza is on me again. It takes away my Ambition and Pep." Well, well, seventytwo years old, and he lets coryza do all that!!
Mrs. Rowell and daughter Jean are now living at 2007-Bth Ave., Greeley, Colo., having moved there last summer on account of Mrs. Rowell's health.
Many of us will remember Lester Mason who visited with us at our 35th reunion. Pictures of Roller, Mrs. Mason, Lester and his baby, recently received from Florida, indicate good health and happiness. Mrs. Mason writes that son Lester, Dartmouth '2B, "took his Ph.D. at Cornell and is now a professor at the New York State Teachers College at Buffalo. Daughter Eleanor is now at Camp Van Dorn, Miss., with her husband, Lt. Donald W. Eckley, who is in the Medical Corps."
Rev. "Shorty" Bowers of Schaghticoke, N. Y:, writes that he is quite well; which news is good news, indeed. You know "Shorty" is in his 80th year.
