Ralph A. Warburton '47 was elected President of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Rhode Island at the 53rd annual dinner meeting held at the Wannamoisett Country Club, in East Providence, R. I., on April 22.

Other officers elected are: Burt Anger '42, Vice President; Leon McKenzie '46, Treasurer; Frank Eggleston '32, Secretary; MelvinG. Alperin '58, George Arnold '18, Donald W.Barr '46, Charles A. Davidson '39, John D.Kilmartin Jr. '49, John Potter '46, RichardSexton '41, Donald H. Taylor '43, TerranceF. McGaughan '25, Townes M. Harris Jr. '47,Joseph McCormick '42, and Robert PierceJr. '53, Executive Committee.

Norman E. McCulloch Jr. '50, was elected Chairman of the Dr. Arthur H. Ruggles Scholarship Fund and Peter Stanley '52 was named Vice Chairman. Robert H. Zeiser '49 was re-elected Chairman of the Enrollment Committee.

Thaddeus Seymour, newly elected Dean of Dartmouth, was the guest speaker. Dr. Arthur H. Ruggles '02, a former trustee of the college and one of the most active Dartmouth alumni in the community for many years, also spoke. Earl T. Richards '07, a man who has attended 52 of the 53 Dartmouth dinners held here, was introduced.

There were nearly fifty people in attend- ance.
