THE CLUB points with pride to the Service Flag which has just been hung in the lobby. On it you will see two gold stars and 289 silver stars representing members of the Club who are now in the armed services.

Dartmouth Servicemen in the New York Area can meet their classmates at a holiday get-together on Friday, December 17, g P.M., at the Dartmouth College Club. Wives and girl friends cordially invited.

Dartmouth Night was fittingly celebrated at the Club on November sth. The Classes of '24 and '25 held a joint dinner and get-together before the evening festival and so did 'l9 with a very big turnout. The highlight of the evening was the singing lead by the Dartmouth Quartet, consisting of Jack Clark 'l9, Art O'Neil 'l9, Frank Williams '29 and "Wik" Mapletoft, Princeton '2B.

A. D. Stout 'l7 who has been doing such a fine job as editor of the Club's monthly news sheet has been elected to the Board of Governors to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of R. B. Kershaw '23. Among the recent visitors at the Club. Robert L. Burnap '94, who was in the city from Florida, for a short stay. Jess Hawley who was here on one of his frequent visits.

New York Party The Dartmouth Club of New York City has scheduled a gala holiday get-together for Friday, December 17, at 5 P.M. All Dartmouth men are cordially invited to the informal party, and the advance announcement includes the news that "wives and sweethearts are welcome." The get-together will be at the Club, 37 East 39th Street.
