THE NEW YORK ALUMNI are still talking about the very successful annual dinner meeting held at the Club in April. Everyone, including the President, seemed to enjoy the informal atmosphere at the Club, and a great many were heard commenting on the interesting talk given by President Hopkins. There were over 100 men from the Armed Forces, thirty-five of them were guests of the Club at dinner.
Six members of the Class of '23 have recently joined the Dartmouth Club, which puts this Class ahead with the greatest number of members. The membership drive is still on and we hope to welcome a lot of new members to the Club.
The Casque and Gauntlet Senior Society will hold a dinner meeting at the Club on May 23.
The first Wednesday luncheon each month is "open house" for all new members. The Board of Governors make it a point to be on hand at this luncheon. Incidentally, the dining room will be closed during the first two weeks of July, and will be redecorated during this period.
The two tennis courts are now in condition, and you won't find better courts in New York City, so if you are looking for a game sometime rop around. You will have no trouble getting someone to play with you.
