BRIEF BIOGRAPHIES follow of the new Board of Governors of the Dartmouth College Club of New York. Thanks to the excellent job of the retiring board and the able management of Ed. Redman we can report an active and solvent Club, ready at all times to serve the Dartmouth men in New York. President—W. C. Batchelder '19. "Batch" having been with the National Credit Office for over twenty years, is now vice president and treasurer. He is a member of the Bankers Club, and resides in Darien, Conn, with his wife and three children. He has been very active in Dartmouth affairs serving as secretary of his Class for the past four years.
Vice President—G. Kellogg Rose '15. "Kel" is vice president of the Chase Bank and manager of their Grand Central Branch. He has always been very interested in Dartmouth and was his Class president for a term. He lives in Montclair, where he is leader in community activities. His family consists of Mrs. Rose and two daughters. Secretary—J. T. White '24. Who will try to keep you informed of the many club activities through this column. Treasurer—L. C. Milliken '2B. "Roy" is with Wm. Iselin & Cos., Textile Factors. For the first ten years he was secretary of his Class. The Milli- ken family consisting of wife, son and daughter live in Murray Hill, New Jersey, near Summit. Board of Governors—J. H. Davis Jr. '25. "Jack" is president of the Alloy Steel Products Company, Linden, N. J. and lives with his wife and daughter at 320 Park Avenue. His company is a 100% war plant, manufacturing steel valves and has just re- ceived the coveted Army and Navy "E" pennant. H. A. Dingwall 'l6. "Jeb" has a son, Class 1942, now in the Navy. He is with Curtis Publishing Company, and has been active in the Dartmouth Club for many years. H. G. Hodge '29. (Chairman of the House Com- mittee) "Jim" lives with his wife and daughter in Radburn, N. J. He is in the real estate mortgage business and will be found most any noontime in the Dartmouth Club dining room. R. A. Holton 'lB. "Dick" is the Alumni Fund Chairman for his Class and has been doing a whale of a fine job putting his Class near the top. Dick is a banker and a golfer and skier in the wintertime. He and his wife and daughter live in Woodhaven, Long Island. R. B. Kershaw '23. "Dick" is with Newsweek Magazine and has been editor of the Club Maga- zine for some time. He and his wife are interested in photography. /. F. Rourke '4O. "Jack" is with Columbia Broad- casting Corp., in charge of their midnight to dawn broadcasting. He has agreed to head the Committee to work with the "Men in Service." More about this later. J. R. Warwick '3l, is now in Washington for the "duration."
Reunions out of Hanover were held at the Club by the classes of 1923, 1928 and 1935, with a fine turnout and a good time had by all. It is hoped that more classes will get back to the class get-to-gethers next winter. All class officers please note.
