There is nothing like a prospective reunion to arouse interest in a class 55 years out, at least, that is what this secretary has found.

We are not so much individualists as we thought a few weeks ago, for the vast majority wanted our reunion in Hanover, a few wanted to give it up for the duration, a few have suggested an informal gathering at other places. Now the secretary still believes in the democratic systems, the majority must rule.

It now seems to be up to the secretary to decide when, where or if. Should he decide on a gathering at some place other than Hanover, no doubt all will realize that the war emergency was the dominating reason. A decision will be reached before this copy reaches you, so please accept it as gracefully as your mellow years will permit.

As for class news, it's so voluminous that its publication must await a later issue.
