SEVENTY MEN OF THE COLLEGE gathered Friday night, May 7, at the Willard Hotel for a rousing good time in which fellowship and fun was the guiding note. The get-together, which closed the series of evening affairs we have held this winter, was held primarily for the entertainment of service men on duty in Washington. In the course of the evening a vaudeville show, complete with singing, a magician, and a Dartmouth dance team entertained the men attending the function. The dance team was composed of Richard P. White Jr., son of our president, and Miss Inez Craft.
Although this party ended the series of evening meetings, the weekly luncheons on Tuesday at the Annapolis Hotel will be continued on schedule throughout the summer months, if waiters are obtainable and if rationing permits. At the moment both "ifs" are well in hand and, so far as we know, the luncheons will be held.
