In the lee of the Yale Bowl a jolly little '46 group spread their blankets for a little stoking up prior to what was hoped would be another Yale scalping. Dave and Jean Weld up from Montclair, N. J., where lumber is moving well under Hose's genial sales direction. Jack and Nona Sayres back in the old New Haven home town with Jack attending to his Fiberglass works in Hartford. With Dale andGloria Armstrong was one of his steel customers so we couldn't land him for much conversation. Spotted Bill and Janet Spoor climbing to row 34. The Spoors are expecting and Pillsbury's Export Dept. never had such a fine international flour salesman. Sitting up high in the sun I found Graham Brush looking very well still enjoying comfortable bachelor status in New York. Foxy Parker sat not too far behind us. Bud and Betty Wingate had slaves for bosses and had to work, but through perseverance made post-game parties.

Your old Treasurer and most enthusiastic '46 booster Bob Kimball checked in from Boston on Election day and reported that the Harvard game brought a good spread of our class. Whitey Campbell wheeled up from Maryland, Union Bag and Paper being adequately distributed for the week. CharlieHamilton had a few of the old West Wheelock boys geared for the game. Joe Donahue was seen gliding among the crowd, with his law degree acquired, rumors say it's hi ho to New Mexico and a little border law practice. And we hear that Jack and Jean Whitman are back in Boston, their real love in localities. Jack says next year we'll see a gigantic '46 Alumni Fund effort. In front of Brooks Brothers I had a nice reunion with KnoxPhagan. He and Toni are living in Bronxville, N. Y., and he's with the Chemical Industrial Bank in the city. Interesting news of an unusual poker game at Luke and NancyVan Orden's comes our way; better sew those woolies to your skin, Luke. Nort Virgien just left American Broadcasting Company to join Weed and Co., Radio and TV representatives, more bucks and more future. "As predicted in this column," look for an article by HermObermayer in an issue of Colliers coming up in the near future.

"Leave it to the Girls" and they have babies - Eloise McElhone, TV star of the show, and Bill Warwick had a lil' Eloise on October 15. Bill's with Warwick and Legler, an advertising agency.

Howie MacMillan and Marie Pizzarelli were married October 2 in Paterson, N. J. It's Bermuda and then back to producing Dumont's world famous TV equipment. Marie is a registered nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson. Larry Jones and Ann Greene of Scarsdale, N. Y., were married at an evening ceremony at the Hitchcock Church. Down in Louisville, Ky., Marjorie Gage announced her engagement to Ernie Vogt. Marg is a former Smith girl. Merry Christmas.
