Have learned that "Ted" Weston had a bad spell—heart attack—several months ago but is back at his office and at his various other civic jobs in Derry, N. H.
Our sympathy goes to Dr. Harry Sanders of Claremont for the loss of his wife, Mrs. Ellen P. (Jones) Sanders, who died October 26. Mrs. Sanders was a native of Claremont, was graduated from Smith College in 1894, and taught science in the schools of Claremont, N. H., and New Britain, Conn., until 1900: from which time until their marriage in 1904 she was agent and secretary of the Associated Charities in Boston. Their daugh- ter, the only child, is Mrs. Elizabeth T. Jones, who resides with her daughter Elizabeth L. Jones in Springfield, Mass.
Have received an attractive announcement of birth of David Rowell Nichols, born in Greeley, Colo.; October 29, 1944, son of Paul Raymond and Margaret Rowell Nichols and grandson of '93's respected classmate, the late John Rowell. The father, Paul Nichols, is in the South Pacific. Grandmother Rowell writes from Greeley that John's other daughter Jean was, last summer, a counselor at Sargent College Camp in Peterborough, N. H., for the sixth consecutive year. She finishes her college work at Brenau College, Gainesville, Ga., this coming year.
Had the pleasure of lunching with Dr. Martyn the noon of that disastrous day when Notre Dame gave Dartmouth that tremendous trouncing. The "King" and his friend Dr. Miller of Wallingford, Vt., manage to get down to Boston each year at the time of any important Dartmouth football game.
