I am grateful to Dave Larson for his great letter bringing us up to date on his activities. Dave is completing an orthopedic surgery residency in Minneapolis, and will soon be moving his brood (wife Cher and two sons) to Alexandria, Minn., where he will begin a solo practice. He is doing a lot of bicycling and camping, and is looking forward to moving to Alexandria, an idyllic community surrounded by 200 lakes. Cher is currently president of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. The Larsons are planning to make the trip to Hanover next June for our 10th Reunion.

It's a boy Michael for Herb and Judi McCord, and Herb is still celebrating. Bob and PamCahners are also the proud parents of a fine baby boy, Jared, born in April. And Bob andJoanne Merrill are enjoying their first offspring, Leila, who tipped the scales at 11 pounds, one ounce, a Budd Lake, N.J., hospital record.

Bill Westling writes that he is stationed at Quantico and is a member of Marine Helicopter Squadron One, which flies in support of the Executive and of the Corps Development and Educational Command. Bill and his wife Rose have three children.

Bob Brayton rates a cheer (albeit a belated one) for his appointment to the post of vice president of American Management Systems in Arlington, Va. He works in systems design and consulting, and is anxious to hear from any '64s in the area. Bob is still doing a lot of rowing and hiking.

Paul Hale is serving as business manager of Money. Time Inc.'s new mag for personal and family finance. Paul is married to the former Valerie Andrews, who once worked as a publicity writer for Time.

Brian McMahon writes that the current shortage of raw materials has been problematical for Inmont's Venezualian division, of which Brian is president. The company manufactures printing inks, automotive paints, and textile colorants. Brian reports that his wife and twin boys are well and happy; he invites any '64s who are in the vicinity of Maracy, Edo Aragua, to drop in for a tad of Irish whiskey.

That's about it for the news bag. Please write, and have a wonderful summer. Later.

John Fiske has been made an assistant vice president of Marine Midland Bank of Rochester, N.Y. He will manage the commercial installment loan department in the Midland Time Plan Division. Completing four years of service in the U.S. Coast Guard in 1968, John joined the bank as an executive development candidate in that year. At the time of the bank's press release, he was working for an MBA degree in finance at the University of Rochester.
