The Boston roundup held this year the night before the Notre Dame game was a most successful affair. It was the largest gathering the class has had in some time. The following were present; Brooks, Burnie, Butterfield, Chapin, Chellis, Childs, Connell, Cooke, Davis, Denison, Charlie French, Ned French, Hartman, Holmes, Jones, Leverone, McGrail, Dave Main, Merchant, Milham, Nuelle, Powers, Rainie, Redman, Rugg, Whittemore and two sons of members, Robert Jones and Donald Rainie.
Some of the regulars were missing, but we were delighted to have Butterfield and Merchant with us. Roy Merchant's son is in the Air Corps engaged in flying bombers at Pearl Harbor.
Cap Pierce and his wife were in Hanover for the Holy Cross game.
Dan and Kitty Hatch have just returned to Montreal from a six weeks visit with Dan Jr. in Colorado Springs. Dan Jr. is a major in the U. S. Second Air Force and has two daughters.
Bob Blood's daughter Elizabeth is a lieu tenant (jg) in the Navy, stationed in Wash ington, D. C.
George Swazey has closed his cabins on Newfound Lake, N. H., and is back in Orlando, Fla.
Charlie Crane and Jack Downey turned up at the Dartmouth Club in New York one night recently and had an old-fashioned celebration.
