A GROUP OF DARTMOUTH "Old Grad's" met at Ed. Warnke's home to observe their traditional Dartmouth night on November 10.

A quiet evening was spent reminiscing about old traditions at Dartmouth. Such traditions as Freshman Picture Fight, Keg and Football Rushes, Sweat Shirts and Corduroys, and Sheep Skins were discussed along with "Remember this and Remember that."

Jigger Pender '97 gave us an eye-witness account of the Notre Dame-Dartmouth game at Boston and told us about other games of by-gone years. Dick Coburn '16 remembered a few games before 1920.

"Dink" Miller '21 told of organizing a wrestling team with accounts of such stars as Gus Cummings '22 and the late Gus Sonnenburg '21.

Jack Shaw '27, and Pres. Rudy Preuss '27, reminded us that the boys of the late '20 weren't so bad either, in their raccoon coats.

We missed our pianist, Art Keleher '27, who moved to new fields in Rhode Island; "Good Luck, Art." Dr. Fred Kortlucke and Judge Harry Collins sent their best wishes.

After our host Ed. Warnke '18 set up refreshments, the gathering broke up with the feeling that the old Dartmouth Night tradition had been well kept on Long Island by the older Alumni, while the younger Alumni were fighting in our armed forces, for God, for Country, for Dartmouth.
