OUR ANNUAL HOLIDAY SMOKER Was held January 2nd at the home of our vice president, Harry Tinker '25. Harry has a real farm and a grand house overlooking his own lake on the outskirts of Minneapolis. About thirty attended and the party was an outstanding success. Among the old stand-bys always on hand, were Henry Thrall '06, Bruce Sanborn '04, Whitney Eastman '10, and Duke Dunning '11. The presence of Willard Robinson '15 and John Faegre '33, both of whom have been missing from our gatherings for a long time, was a delightful surprise.
It seems to this writer that the pace has been set for the most interesting year in the history of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of the Northwest. Hap Atwood '13 and Red Loudon '14, those now famous former roommates, have done much to keep us on our toes and, since we are unable to go to Hanover, they are now endeavoring to bring the College to us. It would be premature to announce the results of their efforts other than to say that we expect one luminary to visit us in February, and another even more notable personage is expected to be with us at our annual dinner on March 24th.
A bulletin to our members is in preparation under the editorship of Bobb Chaney '35, and this will contain the personal news items for which we do not have space here.
