Just as we expected, not much news from '88. Reason—lncome Tax. But we do note with pleasure that 5 of our 19 men have already (March 8) made their March payments to the government and found they had something left over to help bolster the Alumni Fund and to rehabilitate the College when the war is over. Congratulations are in order. Frank M. Porter. A note from his daughter confirms the fact, as reported in the March issue, that he passed away on December 7, his 76th birthday. For eight years he has made his home with her at Farmingdale, L. I. He had been gradually failing for some years.

Henry Spencer. A welcome note from Henry was much in his old vein, as this is the first time in years that he has tried the rigors of a New England winter. It was good to read, especially in view of his "old neuritis" which he has "enjoyed" for years.
