Recently Ned Kenerson made a trip to Washington in the interests of the American Publishers Association and on the way back stopped off at Philadelphia to reune with Andrew Jackson. Andy heads some sort of a division of the U. S. Security and Exchange Commission, and is in many respects close to the Washington turmoilers. One can easily imagine the cajoling and argument that passed between these two through the small hours of the morning, the reminiscences of the days spent in Hanover, and the prayers uttered for the future of Dartmouth. All we can say is that we wish we could have been behind the door.

A brief notice of the death on March 22, 1944, of Anna M. Haney, wife of Dr. Lewis H. Haney of Maplewood, N. J., has been received through the kindness of Charlie Luce. We all recall the pleasing personality of Mrs. Haney as we gathered at reunions and at the summer picnics at Victor Cutter's. We know of the happy family life so ably fostered by her at Maplewood and at East Jaffrey, the summer home. We regret her passing and extend to Lewis and the family our most sincere sympathies.

The Pittsburgh (Pa.) Press under date of January 23, 1944, announced the speaking engagement of Prof. Stanwood Cobb under the auspices of the Pittsburgh Baha'i Community on the subject, "The Baha'i Plan for building World Unity." Ever since his teaching days at Robert College in Constantinople, Dr. Cobb has been intensely interested in the Baha'i religion. He has written and lectured through the years on the conception of the coming world order as the Baha'is conceive it. His "Security for a Failing World" published by the Avalon Press, Washington, D. C., is a most interesting exposition of this Baha'i conception.
