WE ARE PLEASED to report several sprouts on the vine: Navy Lt. Hank Embree '30 now stationed in New Caledonia became on April 16, 1944 the father of a baby girl born in Chicago. Uncle Bill Embree '21, in Hank's absence, is passing out the cigars.

Marine Capt. Robert L. Raclin '40 on March 16, 1944 became the father of Jonathon born at La Jolla, California; weight and length unknown.

Navy Lt. (jg) Donald G. McKinlay '37 was here but had to leave for Miami just a day before Susan became the daughter of him and Barbara in Chicago on March 23, 1944.

The regular May meeting of our Association was set ahead to April 26, 1944 to hear Dean Herluf V. Olsen talk about Tuck School's post war plans for itself and what the school foresees for others. We enjoyed his thought-out optimism and the lively discussion with his audience about post war controls.

We welcome and look forward to seeing alumni who will be in town for the political conventions. We pray for their guidance and I hope for our deliverance.
