THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN ALUMNI CLUB elected the following new officers at their last meeting:

John M. Cunningham '18, President; Frederick Long '11, Vice President; E. A. Toothaker '32, Secretary-Treasurer.

The gathering met with the usual success, even though the ranks of those attending were considerably depleted due mostly to absences of men in the war service. Mr. Everett H. Parker, Class of '16, was his usual self in carrying out the duties of Toastmaster. It seems to many of us who watch him in action that he has missed his calling, as he undoubtedly has the same talent for mimicry as Wallace Beery, Bob Burns, or Hanley Stafford.

The buffet dinner and liquid refreshments were heartily enjoyed by all, as well as the very fine talk given by Mr. W. W. Grant 11, in which he told us of general conditions and background of wartime Dartmouth. There were several young uniformed men from recent classes, many of whom had some interesting stories which went beyond the category of Boot Camp. One of these was Lt. W. S. Spinney, Class of '41. Lt. Spinney gave us a very graphic and interesting picture of the invasion of Kiska, during which maneuver he assumed a very responsible post. The remainder of the evening was taken up by general discussion, diligently maneuvered by the witty remarks of our Toastmaster. These minutes, we regret to say, represent the' activities of this generally very active group up to the present time. We are hopeful of having more get-togethers as soon as possible, but under present conditions this seems rather improbable. Consequently, news from us may be infrequent for the time being.
