RICHARD (DOC) PROCTOR '43 was married recently to Lucy MacPherson, formerly of Skidmore College and Scarsdale, N. Y.
During the last month we saw these men in Chicago and out of the service: Truman Metzel '23; Booth Sherman '22; William Abbott '27; Roger Wilde '21; Tom Eastman '33; Donald McKinlay '37; Robert Woodcock '33; Edward McKinlay '42; Robert Castle '4O; Robert Raclin '40; James McElroy '40; Marshall Hollander '40. Robert MacLeod '39 was signing everything that was put in front of him hoping that would get him out. To those still in service it might be interesting to know fhat Louis Leverone's placement service is offering plenty of jobs.
Whitey Fuller '37 told us at a luncheon that if the alumni add their organized and enthusiastic support to other advantages al- ready made available to us through the G.I. Bill of Rights, the NROTC and certain returnees, 1946 will mark the beginning of a long string of good football teams.
Jess Hawley's heart almost took him to his Maker last spring but the former football coach is playing a little golf now.
Allen Tacy '35 and Richard L. Clarke '42 have moved to Chicago. John C. Redington '00 was in for lunch; so was James Doyle '23. Robert Wilkins '32 was seen in a local tap room. David Mulliken '41 is stationed at Fort Sheridan. William Juergens '23 is back at the jewelry business after two and a half years on war work. Our Dartmouth Night cocktail party brought out 250 most of who must have been on the Glee Club.
