BURPEE C. TAYLOR '97, 70, president of a candy manufacturing company bearing his name died reecntly in Evanston, Ill. He was born in Nova Scotia and is survived by his widow Claudine D. and his son Lt. Robert D., USNR.
Jess B. Hawley '09, who in the 1920's coached Dartmouth football teams that were the best in the country, is laid up because of a heart attack.

Alexander Worden '19 of Great Falls, Mont., had lunch with us on his way through. Edward S. McKinlay '42, in town for about a week, has been operating in the Atlantic. His brother Donald C. McKinlay '37, also in the navy, is assigned in the Pacific. James D. Tredup '40 in San Diego has had several recurrences of the malaria he contracted during . the siege of Guadalcanal.
A1 Steinbrecher '20 has retired from business in Chicago, bought the Two-T ranch in Tucson, Ariz., and will continue a lifetime hobby of picture taking. He is one of three or four photographers out of hundreds of applicants to be selected as official photographer by the Tucson rodeo committee.
