BOSTON-ALUMNI, and others who may be in these environs the latter part of February, are reminded again of the Annual Dinner of the Boston Association at the Copley Plaza, February 28. This is the highlight of the Dartmouth season in Boston, and always proves a fine opportunity to renew many an acquaintance and have a most enjoyable evening. All Wearers of The Green who may be hereabouts at that time are cordially invited to attend.

As is our custom, President Hopkins will be the principal speaker of the evening. As this is written the other speaker (s) can not be named with certainty, but the overall program promises to combine well stimulated appetites, good food, good music and in general an evening which will move with surprising rapidity toward the ten o'clock closing hour—which will be well observed for the benefit of those who must catch that last train home.

The committee in charge of the preparations includes Bob Burns '09, Ed Shattuck '10, Ted Learnard '24, Jim Woods '33, Dick Muzzy '35, Ed Langenbach '31, George Rideout '33, Dick Morton '36, Jack Devlin '37, Bill Ganter '38, Larry Pleasants '39, and the writer of this little note.

It has been reported by sources generally found reliable (though it can't be guaranteed) that the evening also will include Free Beer for All. Your secretary has heard this war cry ring through the halls of the dormitories sufficiently often—only to prove a most sinister false alarm—to leave him skeptical. Yet the rumor is persistent, and from good sources. Cross your fingers! And come see for yourself how it turns out!

THE DARTMOUTH CLUB DINNER IN WORCESTER was addressed by (I. to r.) Prof. William S. Messer, Chairman of the College's Committee on Academic Adjustments, and Major Charles F. H. Crathern '20 AAF, who spoke on his personal observations of the African and Italian campaigns. J. Henry Hartshorn '24 (r.), as 1944 President of the Club, presided.
