THE NEW PROGRAM of special entertainments for patients at the White River Junction Veterans' Hospital inaugurated by COSO with the cooperation of the Dartmouth Speakers Bureau got off to a good start in January when several varied events were presented by the two organizations.

The Dartmouth Players took their production of the Broadway comedy hit, "Personal Appearance," across the river to the hospital on Jan. 8. Coach Earl Brown showed movies of the Dartmouth-Notre Dame football as the initial event in the COSO program.

Later in the month, the Glee Club gave a concert which duplicated that given by them at the Buxton Country Day School in Short Hills, N. J. Ross McKenney of the Outing Club spoke to the veterans and Prof. Bancroft H. Brown gave his wellknown talk on gambling.

COSO plans to present some sort of entertainment to the veterans, who include some from World War I as well as the present war, every two weeks and has arranged for some of the Dartmouth Concert Series stars, including Yehudi Menuhin, to play there.
