Lt. Commander Robert P. (Whitey) Fuller, that old impresario of DCAC publicity, has returned from duty with the Fleet Air Wing of the Caribbean Defense Command. He will be reassigned to new duty by the Commander of the Air Force, Atlantic Fleet Tus McLaughry and Milt Piepul have been carrying on a spring practice of sorts, very informally and unobtrusively, in one corner of the athletic field. They have been working out with a little group of six or eight centers and backs, doing some tentative work in timing and kindred activities. Formal practice is expected to start shortly after July 1, when the full staff will be assembled for the first time. Coach Hafey Arthur has written an article for the Intercollegiate HockeyGuide on the subject of college hockey in wartime. Hafey is in favor of it. Judging by the continued success of his teams, such a conclusion is not surprising
