Greetings Twoters!

A letter from Captain Larry Henderson (corporal of ist Squad, Cos. I SATC) tells of his serving on the Board of Contract Appeals, War Dept. in Washington, for the past few months. Very likely by the time this issue is published. Larry will have been discharged and resumed his law practice in Phoenix, Ariz. Most unfortunately, Larry and Mary Alice lost their oldest daughter Janet, 14, some months ago after a serious illness. Our sympathy to the Hendersons.

Bert Hauser has been appointed to membership on the activities committee of the Dartmouth Club, New York City.

In mid January I had the pleasure of being an overnight guest of Margaret and Bill Morrell in Plainfield, N. J. We all dropped in at Marion and Norm Crane's for cocktails and met their charming daughters, Shirley and Joan. Norm's wartime service as lieutenant colonel was interrupted toward the end by serious illness, but he's well on the road to recovery and expects to resume his medical practice very soon. It was really swell to see him again because it's been all of fifteen or twenty years, since our paths have crossed.

Hotchkiss reports Loosh Sherman is back from the wars. What's new Loosh? How's for a letter?

Uly Auger of New Bedford (Mass.), with the able assistance of Ide are sponsors of the Regular Fellers' Club for youngsters of 10 to 12. His letter offers proof of continuous family and business activities, what with five children of his own, and law and credit union work and the handling of real estate.

Roy Ball, Flint cigar man, is a director of an association of wholesale tobacco distributors and while in Chicago recently saw Wagner, Pierce, Taylor, Davidson and Blunt. Roy's oldest daughter Barbara is a freshman at Smith.

Your correspondent had lunch with Horan, Kilmarx, Morrell, Miner and Hotchkiss in New York, shortly after the turn of the year. Gene had just attended the Alumni Council meeting in Hanover and was in New York for a few days, so it was fitting that he was guest of honor.

Later that day, Gene and I dropped in on Dan Kincaid and chewed the fat for a while. Steve Kenyon brought up the rear guard with a few minutes' visit with our Councilor before he took his train.

Dartmouth's in town again!—Twoters registered at the Hanover Inn in January were Betty and Joe Perkins, Bob Booth, Gene Hotchkiss, and Frances and Duke VosBurgh. Hartford (Conn.), Board of Finance. He is

Duke has been recently appointed to the Connecticut representative of the Union Securities Cos. of New York. During the war Vos served as chairman of the Blood Donor Service Committee of the local chapter of the American Red Cross.

Bob Baldwin covers the Springfield (Mass.), Twoters situation as follows—Max Budnitz is carrying on his hardware business and doing well in spite of shortages Harvey Moses' hair has turned iron gray and he looks very dignified sitting behind his mahogany desk as trust officer of the Third National Bank & Trust Cos., which position he has run very ably for a number of years..... Herm Carlisle and Spenny Smith have only recently come up for air in their very large hardware business. Herm, however is a bear for punishment and has purchased the old Holyoke YMCA property on which he has contracted for a modern building to house his branch store there

Baldwin's general insurance business is prospering as might be expected under the supervision of that able gent.
