Hood Reelected

HARVEY P. HOOD '18 of Cambridge, Mass., was reelected Alumni Trustee of the College, to succeed himself for a first full term of five years, at the annual spring meeting of the Board in Hanover on June 9. Mr. Hood was first elected Alumni Trustee in December 1941 to fill the unexpired term of Edward S. French '06 when Mr. French was elected a Life Trustee.

The extent of Mr. Hood's interest in the College and the active cooperation he has shown in alumni affairs were stated in the biographical "profile" on Mr. Hood which appeared in the June issue as one of the series on the Members of the Board.

NEW FACULTY MEMBERS COME ABOARD AT DARTMOUTH to staff the College's new department in Naval Science and Tactics now under way in preparation for the establishment of the NROTC unit at the College in November.
