THE CLASS OF 192 a, with William W. Bullen as chairman, is concentrating this fall on the completion of its Class Memorial Fund, to be presented to the College at the time of its 25th Reunion. Assisting the 1922 chairman are Leroy F. Ball, Francis H. Horan, and Eugene Hotchkiss. With 511,955 already given and a further sum pledged, the class has every prospect of matching 1921's record gift this year of $26,301.
The Class of 1923 will be the tenth successive class to present a gift in the current Class Memorial Fund pattern started by 1913 at its 25th Reunion in 1938. The plan has found widespread support and has, in its ten years of existence, added $227,000 to the unrestricted endowments of the College.
Also active this fall will be the Classes of 1923, Jules L. Rippel, chairman; 1924, Fred C. Shaneman, chairman; 1925, Robert C. Borwell, chairman; and 1926, Robert M. Stopford, chairman. The progress already made by these classes points to the creation of a new high level for the Memorial Funds among the larger classes. The Class of 1923 has already had gifts of over $30,000, and following classes are meeting equal success.
