Charley and Mabel Lamprey are in Florida again. They started in their car on December 19 and met the usual assortment of cold, snow, icy roads and blockades, but finally arrived at Jacksonville on Christmas Day. From there they made a tour of the East Coast beaches, decided Miami was "terrible," covered the Tamiami Trail and finally reached Sarasota. As they went through, Charlie saw a sign "Out-of-Door School" and as he had always been interested in the like, they drove in to look it over. The next thing that happened was that they were enrolled in the faculty of the school and will be there until June first. Charley thinks they were lucky, but I think the school was luckier still.

By the time you read this Geig will be through his teaching for the year and free to move around again. Laura and he plan to visit their son Bill in Evanston, son Fritz in Tacoma, and other relatives in the West.

In my notes in the January ALUMNI MAGAZINE I gave the income of the Charles H. Gould Fund as $1996.20 in '45. If you subtract this amount from the total '92 Gift in '45. $2537.7°, y°u see that apart from the Gould Fund we gave $541.50, almost exactly 150 per cent of the class objective of $360. We are not resting our record too heavy on Charley's gift.

This time I can really report that Alex Salinger is back in his apartment at the Beaconsfield. I saw him there not an hour ago and found him improving slowly but steadily.
