THE THIRD IN the series of great issues of the day, being discussed in the MAGAZINE under the general title So Little Time, deals this month with the human implications of the atomic bomb. Personal statements, starting on Page 11, are contributed by Profs. Arthur M. Wilson and Thomas S. K. Scott-Craig of Dartmouth and by Prof. John Turkevich '28 of Princeton. Next month American foreign policy will be discussed.
The story of the White Church, which has reached its 175 th anniversary, is told by Profs. Francis L. Childs '06 and E. Bradlee Watson '02 in an interesting article beginning on Page 20. Abner Dean '31, noted American cartoonist, whose satirical book It's a longway to Heaven recently appeared, has contributed, on Page 18 and 19, a rib-tickling assortment of Dartmouth reminiscences, slightly barbed but all in good fun.
We are happy to add to the class-notes section this month the news of the Dartmouth Navy Alumni Association, on Page 80, and we hope they will long be with us.
