THE DARTMOUTH CLUB of Central Ohio gathered for dinner at the Seneca Hotel in Columbus on Friday, May 24th. President Al Chandlers '08 presided at the dinner and for the election of officers. The following slate proposed by the nominating Committee was elected: President—Gerald Baron '2O; Vice President—Bob McClure '29; Secretary—Bill Brown '33; Treasurer—Ed Atkinson '28. It was agreed that the officers of Secretary and Treasurer be combined for joint action by Ed and Bill.

Gerry Baron accepted for the new officers and spoke for all members in paying tribute to the retiring officers. Russ Webster '26 and Walter Heer '37 served with distinction, as Secretary and Treasurer respectively, during the war years.

Returning veterans entertained those present by relating their most vivid experience. These included Bob McClure '26, Sam Caldwell '38, Bob Tucker '27, John Roberts '44 and Bill Brown. We were glad to welcome John to the Club, and hope that all of our veterans will be home for the summer picnic

in August. Movies of last summer's picnic closed the more formal aspects of the meeting, with the members giving verbal aid to Russ Webster's operation of the projector. After several reruns came the foamy brew, much talk, and seven-card stud.
