New Alumni Trustee

BEARDSLEY RUML '15 of New York, who was elected an Alumni Trustee of the College at the commencement meeting of the Board on June 27. He succeeds Dr. Arthur H. Ruggles '02 of Providence, R. I., who has served the limit of two five year terms. Mr. Ruml, chairman of the board of R. H. Macy, is also chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and is one of the country's leading economists, being best known for his authorship of the pay-as-you-go tax plan.
