Named Trustee

AS THE LATEST honor in his growing list, President Dickey has been named to the board of trustees of the Brookings Institution. Members of the Institution met in Hanover during August for a seminar on foreign relations, and President Dickey took a leading part in their discussions.

On October 4, as the representative of the New England colleges and universities, he will speak at the inauguration of President Burkhardt of Bennington College. Other engagements during the next six weeks are: Oct. 7-8, Association of Colleges of New England Meeting, Boston University; Oct. 8, Speaker, Harvard Club of Boston; Oct. 10, Dartmouth Night, Hanover, Oct. 15, Speaker, New England Tax Association Meeting, Whitefield, N. H.; Oct. 16, Meeting of the Committee for Economic Development, New York City; Oct. 17, Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Rockefeller Foundation, New York City; and Nov. 20, Alumni Council Meeting, Dartmouth Club of New York.
