Recent visitors to Hanover have been Mr.and Mrs. Charles A. Wing and their daughter from Quincy, Mass., where Charlie is pastor of the First Parish Church; Dr. and Mrs. TuteWorthen of Hartford, Conn.; Jack Stilphen of Dover, Mass.

Warren C. Billings is serving in the Civil Engineer Corps of the U. S. Navy Cost Estimating Section in Washington, D. C. His home address is 806 Massachusetts Ave., N. E.,

Fred Lena is principal of Mark Twain Junior High School, Yonkers, New York.

Louis Gerry of Providence, R. I., and Peterboro, N. H., has recently received an honorary M.A. degree from Brown University in recognition of his public services in Providence during many years.

Our talented president, Jim O'Neill, was Visiting Professor of Speech at Northwestern University this summer. Two important articles by him have recently been published, one. entitled Church, Schools, and the Constitution, in the June issue of Commentary, and another, entitled The Separation ofChurch and State. He also participated in a radio discussion on the subject Our Churchesand Our Government: How Are They Related?

After recuperating in Lebanon "from that most wonderful reunion," George Liscomb is now associated with Dartmouth Skis, Inc., in Hanover.

"A New Hampshire boy, a graduate of Dartmouth and M.I.T., who has been a Philadelphian for 30 years, his career in the electric utility field started 36 years ago in Newark, New Jersey. For the last 19 years he has been Chief Engineer of Philadelphia Electric Company He is credited with a number of inventions, which are in daily use in the electric power field His hobbies fall under the heading of collecting, but agricultural duties have demanded much of his spare time in the growing season." This is, of course, Phil Chase, recently elected president of the Engineers Club of Philadelphia.

The Class Baby is always loyal to '07 and never overlooks significant '07 anniversaries. True to form, Mary Beals, daughter of Reverend Charlie Beals, writes from Natal, South Africa, "Greetings to '07 on the occasion of their Fortieth reunion! Wish I could be there with Dad, remembering what a grand time I had at the 30th and 35th."

"Chosen by the judges of the Federal District Court in Boston to fill one of the two full-time positions as referees in bankruptcy in Massachusetts, Attorney Wilfred H. Smart, with offices at 44 School St., and residence in Belmont, was recently sworn in by Judge Sweeney." Bill's appointment means that he will discontinue his private practice of law.— Heartiest congratulations, Bill! Your classmates know that the Federal judges picked the best possible man.
