As the Alumni Fund campaign nears its close, your promptness in sending your contribution becomes more important. The keynote of this year's campaign is participation, suggesting that if each one of us gives what he can, no matter how little this may be, the results will be gratifying. If you have not yet given your support to the Fund campaign, then do so; your contribution will be appreciated.

Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Grimes of Marshalltown, lowa, Larry Coachman, and D. L. Beauchamp were recent visitors at the Hanover Inn.

Bob Bohn is doing production control work for the Preferred Utilities Mfg. Corp. in Danbury, Conn. Al Colton, Rhodes Scholar, is living at Balliol College, Oxford, England. JackJeffus is working with the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas. Frank Hill is now associated with WTSV, Claremont, N. H.

Roland Miller is doing engineering work in Chicago, living in Tinley Park, 111. BillMoran is living in Washington, D. C. NormPlatin is a teacher and coach in Grosse Pointe, Mich. Bill Rogers is a clerk for the Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Cos. in Hartford, Conn. Bob Shallow is a graduate student at Brown University. Jim Vanderbeek, working for Stanolind Oil & Gas Company, has recently moved from Bogota, Colombia in South America to Casper, Wyo.

According to previously announced plans, the former Miss Helen Anne Lydecker and Pete Townsend were married in February at the Congregational Church in Middlesex Borough. The bride, a student for two years at Wellesley, is now studying at New York University. Pete, with his Master's Degree, is now an instructor in chemical engineering at Columbia University. The couple planned a wedding trip to Wake Robin Inn, Conn., after which they will live in New York City.

This month Doug Pitman will receive a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of New Hampshire Graduate School. Doug graduated from Dartmouth in June 1947 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. John Halpin, instructor in the Great Issues course, has been awarded one of three James K. Colby Memorial Fellowships for the study of law at either Yale, Stanford, or Nebraska. George Moses will study education at the Graduate School of Education at Harvard, having recently been awarded one o£ four Fred DeMeritte Barker Fellowships.

Duncan MacFarlati has been appointed assistant manager of the Newark Agency of the Prudential Insurance Company of America. He will take over the responsibility of sales in Bergen County, N. J., and for the present will operate from their Paterson Branch Office. Howard Doolittle is working with General Electric in Electronic Sales in New York City, after spending a year with the same company in Syracuse. He is living with Walt Wood '4B at 219 W. 78th St., N. Y. C.

Pete Estin will be living and working "for a few months" in Denver, Colo. Bill Wood is associated with Brewer & Lord Insurance in Boston, and reports having seen Bun Harvey recently at a hockey game. Bun is planning to be married on the 23rd of June in Muncie, Ind. to Janet Crapo. He is presently employed in his father's steel business, handling the aluminum department. Bun suggests that John Anthony and Ben Brewster are "forced to remain pretty close to the hearth these days."

Len Hall is working in the district office of the Shell Oil Company in Manchester, N. H. Len says he met Dave Wright in the Shell Oil Co.'s Boston office, but he has since then been transferred to Connecticut. Gene Whittier is in the midst of his freshman year at the Boston University Medical School. John Day is now living in Englewood, N. J. with his wife Nancy and their eight-month old daughter Anne, working for Sumner D. Kilmarx '23 of the Theo Hofstatter Company in New York City, dealers in custom furnishings and decorating. John is concerned mostly with the production end of the business as he was previously when he worked for the Westfield Manufacturing Cos., bicycle manufacturers.

Gene De Felice is teaching General Science and Advanced Algebra in Conant High School. Gene lives with his wife Margaret, their 22-month-old son Eugene Jr., and their daughter Susan Alda, 10 months, in East Jaffery, N. H., and had just returned from a vacation when last heard from.

Jack Gray is living on a friend's plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S. C. while completing his college work at the College of Charleston. The southern climate is more healthful for Jack, so he plans to return south for summer counseloring.
