Greetings and salutations to all. We'll start off with an appeal from our hard working treasurer, Bill Schuldenfrei. Bill's letter is dated December 7, so I'll hope that by this time our appeal is no longer necessary. Bill sent out his third and last dues billing and at that time over fifty members of the class had failed to respond. I agree with Bill that it isn't too much to ask you to send in a check to cover the cost of this MAGAZINE which incidently is the best alumni publication in the country. Bill has been promoted to the position of Merchandise Councilor at L. Bamberger and Cos., and his new home address is

975 Park Avenue, Plainfield, N. J., until further notice. Henry and Allie Johnson have moved into their recently purchased new home, 32 Jameson Road, Newton, Mass. If it weren't tor our annual Christmas Eve telephone call we'd never know what "Satch" and his Frau are doing Bill Galley has moved to 4929 W. Augusta Blvd., Chicago, 51, 111.

News copy from New York brings the following:

New York, December 30. William L. Wilson has been named a vice president of Universal C.I.T. Corporation and the C.I.T. Corporation, both of New York, and will coordinate the advertising and public relations activities of these two affili- ated financing organizations. He has resigned as vice president and secretary of Kellett Aircraft Corporation, North Wales, Pa., to join the C.I.T. group. For a number of years, Mr. Wilson was in charge of public and industrial relations and advertising for Republic Aviation Corporation, Farmingdale, N. Y.

We had an excellent letter from Walt Hausman who is with the F. & M.Schaefer Brewing Co., Brooklyn, N. Y. Walt's letter came just too late to make the January notes but it will bring us up to date on his activities:

Brooklyn, N. Y Spent Harvard weekend in Hanover (Friday till Tuesday) and even though the game didn't turn out just as we had hoped for we (wife and daughter) had a swell time. Spent most of the time with Hal and Esther Bond but other '31ers were seen. Did not get to talk to many of them but from the distance saw Andres, Galley, Henry Johnson, etc. Bond is quite the busy fellow around Lebanon. Is now a partner in the Carter Clothes Business in Lebanon and has many other interests there such as the Chamber of Commerce. He explained that he had to miss Reunion because Esther was hospitalized—but added that he thought of us a lot. I made use of my pilot's license that weekend when he and I chartered a plane from the W. Leb airport and did the Presidential Range above an overcast, taking pictures and having a swell time in general. Hal's son is in Lebanon High School. Bob Spotts was to have gone up that weekend but at the last minute had to back out. Couldn't make connections with a group here in New York who recently got together, Hank Richmond, Don Stoddard, .Bob Spotts,,etc., who attended a luncheon at which Peanut Winslow with one of his inimitable talks was the piece de resistance. Really regretted missing out on this.
