Congratulations to Jim McElroy. Parson Jim is president of the recently revived Alumni Association o£ Toledo. They had their first meeting before the Dartmouth-Toledo University basketball game during the Christmas holidays. Jim is Rector of St. Mark's Church in Toledo and in that capacity is keeping right busy with extra-curricula activities in the fields of education and civic work.

Ernie Moore has asked us to insert a lost persons advertisement in this column. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of JohnnyHines, Bob Hughes, Jacques Silversteen or Red Stev:ens will please drop a line to Ernie or to yours truly. He has also asked me to pass the word along to you that the occupational diseases resulting from being class agent; greying hair, palsy and the jitters in general, can be prevented if you, to a man, resolve to get your contribution in early and make it a few bucks more than last year's.

Red Rolfe has taken over new duties as coach of the Toronto Huskies of the Basketball Association of America. As you undoubtedly know, after that grand career with the Yankees, Red was basketball coach at Yale remaining there until he went back with the Yanks as coach last season. Best of luck from the class, Red.

Rod Dodge is president of the Trade-Winds Textiles, Inc., now. His office is in the Empire State Building. He and Alice are living in Rockville Center, L. I.

The New York Herald-Tribune of February 7 carried a picture of Doug Morris who has been elected vice president of Pedlar and Ryan, Inc. He was formerly with Campbell Soup Cos. and Lever Brothers. Doug is living in Scarsdale and has four children now. He sees quite a bit of Jack Weatherly and CharlieSchneider.

Ed Pastore is a regular commuter to New York from New Haven. Ernie writes that they are able to have an occasional game of that special brand of Hanover bridge.

The Herald Tribune recently carried a picture of Bob Spotts also. He joined the Tel Autograph Corp. in 1944 and recently was elected executive vice president of that outfit. Bob received his Masters from Columbia. He and Kay are living at 67 Yellowstone Blvd., Forest Hills, N. Y.

Zoe, Amy and Red Gristede spent a few days at North Woodstock skiing in February. They reported excellent conditions under the tutelage of Bunny Bertram and saw SheetThomas while there.

Ed and Peg Brummer took a busman's holiday in February skiing on Cannon Mountain where Peg had the misfortune to break her leg. Fortunately everything goes well now. Ed and Peg are Hosts at Woodbound-on-theLake at East Jaffrey, N. H.

Nick Oleksiw has been appointed treasurer of the William Hengerer Cos. Since September 1945 Nick has been special assistant to the corporate controller of R. H. Macy & Cos. Prior to that he was assistant to the general controller of Montgomery Ward.

Dr. Johnnie Williams is now practicing in Rochester, N. Y. His home address is 388 Monroe Avenue. Joe Merriam is Merchandise Manager for Kerr's in Oklahoma City, Okla. He is living at 2107 Wilshire Blvd. Tom Gafford is doing graduate work at the School of Social Work, University of Southern California. He is living at 2715 Arlington Ave., Los Angeles.

Dr. Henry Almond, another of our promising medicos, is in Berlin, N. Y., living at 197 Emery St. Stewart Rose is vice president of Standard Brands, Inc. His business address is 595 Madison Ave., N. Y. C. His home is on Tower Road, Riverside, Conn.

Don't forget Ernie's plea for a rapid return on the Alumni Fund and a larger check this year.
