Our class has been well represented in the sunshine (?) of Florida this winter. Whether this has been the result of affluence, retirements, or decreased resistance against the rigors of the northern winter, your secretary does not know.
Joe and Catherine Carney were the last of the Florida visitors heard about. They were at Hollywood, Fla., for six weeks in February and March.
At the Boston Dartmouth Alumni dinner in February at a table which included men from '93, '96, '97, and '98 and '99, your secretary was the lone representative from '98.
As these notes are being prepared JackSpring is sending out his notices for the Alumni Fund. Jack has been doing a wonderful job as class agent. It is a hard thankless job and involves a whole lot of time and work. If every member of the class will send along his contribution at once, if it has not already been done, it will relieve Jack of the additional work and the worry whether you will contribute, and, by so doing, you will help raise the standing of the class on the list of classes. We have always been near the top of the list and this has been due to the persistent hard work of our class agents. Try and make the work lighter for Jack and send along the contributions now since you are going to do so at some time.
Why don't the rest of you fellows follow the fine examples of Harry Clark and HarryNichols and send a letter about yourself and your family. The other fellows want to hear about you and unless the secretary is informed he can have nothing in the notes each month. If you have anything about another member of the class, please send it along. As an inducement to send along a letter, if you will include a photo of yourself it will also appear in the MAGAZINE.
