Orvil and Amy Smith of Wakefield, Mass., have recently returned from a vacation trip to Orlando, Fla., where they reuned again with Harold and Edilh King, year round inhabitants of that delightful community.

Alton G. Pratt of Middleboro, Mass., is the proud grandfather of a second prospect for Dartmouth, Philip Allan, son of AugustusKingman Pratt '43. Incidentally, his grandfather on his mother's side is a Dartmouth graduate of 1918, Al Gottschaldt of White Plains, N. Y. Alton was unable to attend reunion in July, but following the event was deeply appreciative of a visit with PrestonHoward who gave him a full report.

Dr. Otis P. Mudge of Amesbury, Mass., is reported to have visited his son Edwin in Cuba this past winter. You will recall that Edwin and his bride and bridal party joined our class dinner at the Hotel Commander in Cambridge following the last Harvard-Dartmouth football game played in Cambridge.

Bucky Lewers of Brooklyn is busily engaged in his spare moments in rounding up sufficient members of 1903 in and about New York for attendance at the Dartmouth dinner to beat the Boston 1903 attendance. Good luck, Bucky.

Vic Cutter in a family report writes that Thelma is in Wiesbaden with the Air Force Statistical Control Unit and expects to return to the U. S. in September. She recently had a short leave and enjoyed skiing in the Alps. Victor Jr. is teaching and researching at Cornell University. He is married and has a threeyear-old daughter. Don is in his senior year at Dartmouth, is married and is a citizen of Sachem Village. Thus the old Indian traditions of the family are carried on "from father to son." Vic in his retirement from active business was just about to enjoy his leisure when Florence broke her ankle. As a result this past winter Vic has been learning the art of good housekeeping under the tutelage of Florence, a past master.

Clayton Erwin has been pulled out of retirement in an emergency stint by the Commissioner of Education of Vermont and has taken over the superintendency of the EssexCaledonia School District Union until the close of the school year.

George Ford was out on the Pacific Coast with his Russian Ballet de Monte Carlo at the time of our reunion and just to equalize he is taking his entire troupe to Hanover this month. We should have had a second reunion.

Arthur J. Cohen of New York has answered the call of his grandson in San Francisco this past month and like all grandfathers on such a mission has had the time of his life.

Remember the call of the 5 Year class dinner in May. Due notice will be mailed you.
