"There's a chance to fish in the troubled journalistic waters of Springfield," writes John (Amos) Clark, "and I'm bound to take my bent pin and run." Therefore John Clark, earlier tagged as Hanover Coordinator of Reunion activities, was compelled to surrender the post, and to become Publicity Chairman of Reunion. Classmates will be apprised of the latest developments in Reunion plans through John's excellent Newsletter, of which Number One has already hit the mailboxes. Change the second is that John Zimmerman, having undertaken an Alumni Fund assignment for this spring, was compelled to surrender his post of financial chairman of Reunion. Charlie Doerr remains as Round-up Chairman, and DickOlmsted as Entertainment Chairman. Your secretary will settle the costume business. Watch Clark's Newsletter for further information.

THE PROGRAM. Plans now call for cocktails and dinner for all the class-brethren in a tent on the Inn lawn Friday, with a simultaneous gatherum of wives at Norwich Inn. Saturday afternoon barbecue, and Saturday evening play and dance for those who wish them. Sunday morning memorial service, and Sunday afternoon class business meeting. For tax de- tails see Clark's Newsletter. Notify Charlie Doerr of your plans to come; he's at 99 White Plains Rd., Bronxville, N. Y.

Where O where is Pierce Davis, asks BoWentworth, who has been getting returned the letters directed to Pierce at the address provided by the Alumni Recorder. Please step up, Pierce, and declare your whereabouts. Belated news of the adventures of Reg Abbott, veteran newspaper man of the Manchester Evening Leader tells how Reg made a weather-flight from Newfoundland to Iceland aboard a B-17 from Baker Flight of the 53rd Reconnaissance Squadron, 3800 miles round trip from Stephenville, Nfld. to Meeks Field, Iceland. Fairly bumpy, says Reg, but interesting.

Under date Jan. 13, 1947, R. A. Keywortk answered a query to the effect that the latest Keyworth son, born August 7, 1946, has been named Richard Briggs, and has been doing nicely, thanks. From Keyworth also comes the news that Rod and Katy Hatcher will soon be leaving (probably will have left by now) for Brussels, nature of work unspecified. The Keyworths are among the hundreds of the class who expect to attend Reunion; ditto the BillKendalls and Bob Buckleys.

Russ O'Brien advises that Whit Daniels has accepted a job at Cornell University as "Assistant to the President in Charge of Public Relations"; the job began April 1, and is in the same area of effort occupied by Whit at Chase National Bank, New York. President Day of Cornell is a Dartmouth.

Gerry and Bob Ackerberg proudly announce the arrival of Susan Lee Ackerberg on 20 February, 1947, and regretfully add that her presence may keep them from Reunion. But BusSails writes that Johnny Johnson, ClarkeDixon, Bill Walton, and Art Moreau are all planning to attend. Janet and Bud Hubbard announce the arrival on March 12, 1947, of Richard Neff Hubbard, weighing 7 lbs., 6 0z.,. and husky. Don't say what this does to their Reunion plans. The Ackerbergs' new address, which I forgot to include above, is 919 Monroe St., Evanston, 111. Bob is a lawyer in Chicago with the NLRB. Jerry Altman's business address is M. B. Altman Sons, 608 Fifth Ave., N. Y. C. Jack Hollem's home address is Box 1186, Minneapolis; Milt Lamproplos's is 330 Main St., Latrobe, Pa.; John Almert is a retail store manager at 2906 State St., Erie, Pa. EdEisenberg works at the Ainsworth Mfg. Corp., 220 Franklin St. Detroit. Bob House lives at 3012 Laurel Ave., Hyattsville, Md., and LockePerkins has the colorful and memorable address of 1818 Vermilion Rd., Duluth 3.

Bo Wentworth took off via Pan-Am on April 2 for Portugal, North Africa, and pointsEuropean, but hopes to be back for June 20. Dave Castleman, care of Sandy Parker, Box 163, Wahiawa (Sandwich Islandese for Wahhoowali), on Oahu, Hawaii, doesn't think he'll get to Reunion on account of distance. Most exotic new address of the month is ChuckFisher's: Monte Himalaya 517, Mexico City. Jack Van Buskirk will get to Reunion from Randolph, Vt. Jim Dillon lives at 1108 Brandon Lane, Wilmington 67, Del., and DickAllen's address is 497 Main St., Hingham, Mass.

Come renew the ties of yore Stretched, not broken, by the war; If Reunion you are for Drop a note to Charlie Doerr: There's always room for hundreds more.
