Curly and Allene Prosser, just back from a long visit to some of Canada's most glorious countryside, are busy shoveling the precipitate snows in Canaan, N.H. (only 15 miles east of Hanover), while planning a two-month holiday in England when spring comes around again. Curly is a group captain on the Campaign for Dartmouth.

Tim Paige says he is glad to see TopperRobinson, Parker Chick, Howie Bush, Ted Howard, Rusty Philbrick, and Maury Makepeace at the monthly meetings in Hyannis of the Dartmouth Cape Cod Club.

Craig Haines has just sent out 60 third notices for class dues. If you are one of the late ones, this is a good moment to mail a check.

The chief tub-thumper of the combo which holds forth at the annual '28 mini-reunion every fall, Al Fowler, writes: "I was sorry to miss the 50th but did not have much choice. I have Parkinson's disease. Am making progress with medication, and am 100 per cent better than six months ago. Janet and I moved into a condo in Aurora in July, about 30 miles from downtown Cleveland. We have special buses for all who are nutty football fans, and I am one. The Browns will be up in there next year. We have not been on many trips but did get down to the Cape this fall to visit my sister, who lives there. To be mobile again will be my goal. Had a card from Wat Dickerman suggesting another minireunion '79. That is a noble thought and I like the idea."

Both Al's boys made it home for Christmas. Jim is in Oklahoma City with Monsanto and Dave is in St. Louis with General Motors. Al's address is 560-23 Russet Wood Lane, Aurora, Ohio 44202.

From his winter home in Hopetown, Abaco, Bahamas, Roy Milliken writes, "It was great to see you both at the 50th. It was a pretty good-looking group of ancient and honorable, don't you think? Have been here since November enjoying absolutely delightful weather. Will probably stay until May or June."

Myles Lane says his work on the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division has been extremely busy. Last year he averaged 14 appeals a day, but since September 1 the schedule has increased to about 20 a day.

Pren Bradley, retired president of Bradley Architects, Inc., has converted his Pittsford, Mass., home into condominiums, left administrative responsibility in his son's hands and is now touring the country with Dot in their landcruiser, palace-on-wheels, or whatever.

George and Fran Pitts operate a real estate business in Jamestown, N.Y. (he had run a family business until 1965), and his greatest civic contribution has been to lay the groundwork for a community college. Incidentally, we now learn that George earned an M.A. in sociology at the University of Chicago. Has anybody else got a graduate degree we don't know about?

Art Hassell had his first go at the Seniors' Golf Tournament while he and Jess were in Florida. How did you do, Art?

Talk about avid golfers - Jack and FranKenerson took a 2,500 mile trip in November down the East Coast and back, primarily to play golf. They visited, among other places, Tides Inn, Va., and Hilton Head, S.C., and had a week at Mid Pines, N.C., where they played in a mixed Scotch tournament - gone 18 days and played 14 rounds of golf!

We are still asking what happened since the 50th. Wes and Dorris Wood accepted an invitation from Dohrman Sinclair and his sister Katherine for a most enjoyable visit at the famous Chautauqua Institute on Lake Chautauqua, N.Y. A first for Wes and Dorris. They also spent part of the summer as usual at Boothbay Harbor, Me. On their way south they spent Christmas with son Tommy and his wife in Oakton, Va. For the past six years they have wintered in Sarasota.

Dick and Melba Walker have been at their home in Palm Desert, Calif., since November but will be back in Omaha by April 1.

New addresses: Harry L. Stone, 8015 River Place, Carmel, Calif.; Richard J. Foote, 121 Dunbarton Drive, St. Simons Island, Georgia; Bill Treanor, Sea Pines Plantation, 49 Black Tern Road, Hilton Head Island, S.C.; BobPorter, VA Center, Prescott, Ariz.; RoyCarpenter, c/o J. K. Clark, 6 Ridgeway St., Newington, Conn.

At the age of 78, Joe Chay is still actively managing his starch factory with the assistance of his son Kungse. We always look forward to his news and comments on the back of his Christmas card. "Here in Taiwan we have changes unthinkable. For the past five years our lives are modernized. Everyone has to make money in order to adjust oneself to the changing world. Houses are air-conditioned, cars crowd the streets. People are no more digging earth. Let the machine do it. So, I also keep myself quite busy making a special kind of adhesive - an oxidized gummy starch for paper tapes. The market is small, but enough for the expenses of my small factory and my own living cost."

A Christmas card came from foot-loose and fancy-free Bob Reid, who drove his motor home to Hanover: "After reunion I toured the coast of Maine, circled Nova Scotia, came back to Lake Champlain, Fort Ticonderoga, Lake Placid, and then had four wonderful days canoeing and camping solo in the Thousand Islands. On to Toronto Exposition, Michigan, Nebraska, the Rockies, Monument Valley in Arizona, and home (to Palm Springs, Calif.)- 11,000 miles driving. I really enjoy the excitement of gypsy traveling."
