Don Scholle '47, Tuck School student from Mamaroneck, N. Y., today wears the crown as king of the International 110 sailing fleet. He sailed his 24 footer, 10-to-1, to the winning total of 1091/4 points in the three-day, five-race series held at Wilmette (111.) Harbor in August and thereby led an Eastern sweep of the third annual championships.

To win his national title, Scholle took one first, two seconds, a third and an eighth in the five races. He actually ended in a point tie with John Marvin of M.1.T., but on the strength of his two seconds he was declared the champion.
