The secretary recently received a call from Al Briggs. Al had been on a trip to the mountains with friends and as their route took them within a few miles of Webster, the town in which the secretary has had a summer home since 1900, they decided to hunt him up. Owing to the division of the town into three rural delivery routes they had the usual difficulty experienced by persons unfamiliar with the territory in finding their objective, but after reaching the Warner postoffice they were properly directed. Al seemed very well and appeared to be bearing the responsibilities of president of the class without ill effects.

Word was received from Eliot, Me. by remote control that John Brooks spent the summer in his old home and that he was looking well, but was not as active as formerly. That goes for all of '85.

Lorrain Weeks and his son William have moved to 144-17 Hillside Ave., Jamaica, L. I. This is the eighth time they have moved since becoming residents of New York City. Lorrain is keenly interested in the political situation and is looking forward to a Republican administration in Washington after January 20, 1949. A snapshot taken in front of his new home shows very little change in his appearance since we saw him at our reunion in 1940.

Secretary and Treasurer, 433-4 th St., N., St. Petersburg 4, Fla.
