Lorrain Weeks has again changed his residence and is now living at 178-10 Jamaica Avenue, Jamaica, Long Island, N. Y. He has recently recovered from an attack of sickness which his physician labeled bronchial pneumonia, but which Weeks with his usual optimism said, "just a case of grippe." Although he is nearing his 90th birthday he takes a mile-a-day walk regularly and is looking forward to 1952 and a Republican administration in Washington.
The season of 1948-49 in St. Petersburg has been the best since the secretary and Mrs. Austin came to Florida in 1923. While many parts of the country have been experiencing heavy snow falls and bitter cold we have had summer weather almost constantly. Hardly a day that the temperature has not been in the high 70s. That people like this kind of weather is evidenced by the outstanding number of winter visitors who have almost completely filled the hotels, apartments and rooming houses.
