May officially has become "camcorder month" in our house. First it's , the ballet recital, then the soccer game, next the piano recitals and the choral concerts, and, once we've recharged (ourselves and the battery pack), there will be school plays, little league games, elementary school graduation, and a birthday party or two. Whew! Were our early lives this complicated?

The news from all of you out there is meager indeed. In fact, this column will be derived exclusively from news releases sent by the College. If time is just too short to write, which I can understand completely, just send copies of your latest home movies or photo albums, and I will interpret!

"Anything worth serious thought often seems to involve complexities beyond the very bounds of human bothering, and everything of any consequence is found fastened at one end to the past and at the other end to the future." John Sloan Dickey, 1953.
