Barney Madden, sports editor for The Providence Journal, addressed the Rhode Island Club on October 14 at the first speaker luncheon held at the University Club in Providence. His remarks centered on football in general and Dartmouth and Brown in particular.

President Ed Carey '16 described the interesting work that interviewing committees undertake for the admissions office. Frank Eggleston '32 has been appointed general chairman in charge of interviewing prospective Dartmouth candidates from the greater Providence area.

The next luncheon will be held on November 18 at the University Club.
