THE MAINE ASSOCIATION had its first meeting of the new year on January 5, when 22 members from Portland and nearby towns gathered at the Graymore Hotel to entertain seven current undergraduates on the last full day of their vacation. The entertainment became ours, as the boys spent a large part of the evening telling us of their impressions of Hanover and Dartmouth, and brought out quite strongly the fact that the problems facing students on the campus have not changed too much through the years. The students present were John Robinson '49, Richard Castner '49, Allan Karcher '5l, William Perkins '48, James Lynch '48, Leonard Stein '50, and Gordon Noe '48. Karcher showed us some beautiful colored slides in and near Hanover this last fall, which brought back some very fond memories.
