ROBERT K. CARR '29, professor of government, will be the principal guest and speaker at several annual dinner meetings of alumni clubs in the Southwest and West next month. His trip is a further extension of the Alumni College, or Hanover Holiday, plan announced in the ALUMNI MAGAZINE last month.

Professor Carr's first speaking engagement before Dartmouth men will be in Oklahoma City Monday, March 15, when the annual dinner and meeting of the Dartmouth Alumni Club of Western Ok- lahoma will be held at the Biltmore Hotel. On the following evening, Tuesday, March 16, he will meet with the Dartmouth Alumni Club of Eastern Oklahoma at the Mayo Hotel, Tulsa. Alumni of western Missouri and eastern Kansas will hear Professor Carr at the University Club, Kansas City, Wednesday, March 17. His next meeting will be in Denver Friday evening, March 19, at the University Club.

Annual meetings of the Dartmouth alumni of the Plains at Omaha on Monday, March 22, and of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of lowa at the Des Moines Club, Des Moines, on Tuesday, March 23, will complete his itinerary.

Professor Carr served as executive secretary of the President's Committee on Civil Rights, of which President Dickey was vice chairman. He will be on leave of absence for the second semester this year and will deliver a lecture at the University of Oklahoma in March.
