THE DARTMOUTH CLUB OF WORCESTER COUNTY'S 1947 Fellowship luncheon was held on December 26, at Putnam and Thurston's Restaurant in Worcester. Prof. AllenR. Foley '20 was kind enough to get up at five-thirty the day following Christmas so he could catch the Cheshire, arriving without incident just as the snows began.

In spite of conditions which grew steadily worse, 125 alumni, undergraduates, fathers and friends of Dartmouth sat down to lunch at 12:15. Prof. Foley was in rare form when relating the latest Hanover news both serious and on the lighter side.

Prof. Foley was scheduled to address a Dartmouth luncheon in Cleveland the following noon. All we know is that his train left Worcester an hour late and the snow in New York that night exceeded the blizzard of '88.

President Ben Ayres '2O presided. It was voted to hold weekly luncheons on Tuesdays at Putnam and Thurston's Restaurant beginning in January.
