THE DARTMOUTH MEDICAL SCHOOL has been cited by the Navy for its part in training medical students during the war under the V-12 program. Upon the recommendation of the Committee on Awards of the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, a certificate of achievement has been presented to the Medical School "in recognition of the valuable contribution of your school to the Navy Department program for training medical students in an endeavor to meet the increasing need for members of the medical profession in this critical period." The certificate was sent to the Medical School last month by Rear Admiral C. A. Swanson, Surgeon General.
