The ambitious Dartmouth crew also took a spring trip for themselves. They journeyed to Winter Park, Florida, where they engaged in practice races with American International and Rollins Colleges. Otto Schumacher captains this aggregation, and in addition there are returning veterans Jack Helsell, Norm Weisman, and George Otto. Pete Plants, John Lewis, Jim Crawford, and Irv Graves complete the starting lineup. Operating against perhaps the most grueling natural handicaps of any local sport, these boys deserve commendation for their inspired efforts.
